A meeting born from the authentic experience of those who live the mountains, amidst cold, fatigue, and wonder.
Through the story of Gabriele Arduini, content creator and outdoor enthusiast, and the insights of Erik Viotti, physics teacher and science communicator, the audience will discover how Gabriele prepares for his expeditions in snowy environments and low temperatures.
Not a lecture, but a sincere sharing of experiences, mistakes, and reflections.
Gabriele Arduini, a twenty-three-year-old from Milan, is a content creator specializing in adventures in cold environments. On his channels, he shares the preparation and reality of his life, also showing the most authentic and imperfect side of the experience.
Erik Viotti, known as the “Prof di Montagna,” teaches physics and combines science communication with a passion for nature, transforming complex concepts into curiosities accessible to everyone.
During the meeting, experience and science intertwine: Gabriele will talk about how he prepares for sub-zero expeditions, while Erik will explain the physical principles behind what happens in the field: from the wind chill effect to weight distribution in a backpack.
A dialogue between theory and practice to understand, in an accessible and engaging way, what it means to live and move where the temperature drops well below zero.
